My name is Tico - please adopt me

Tiko is a lovely natured seven year old short coat girl.

When our volunteers visited she barked but, she was very relaxed as soon as they were seated, she was very keen to make friends and, check their pockets for treats and, toys.

Tiko has been an active dog in her younger days but as her owner has become less able due to poor health she has had less exercise. Our volunteers went on a walk with Tiko and, although pulling and, barking at the start she became relaxed and, happy to play fetch.

Tiko can sit, give you a hand shake and could build on this as she is very clever and, eager to please.

Tiko has had mixed experiences with young children and, she is now very worried by them. Tico will not be re-homed with kids

Our volunteers watched her on her walk pass a smaller dog with nothing but curiosity.  She has not had much in the way of socialising with dogs so this would need to be worked on slowly.

Tico would love a home where she can be stimulated and exercised.
