General Sponsorship - Meg's Loch Tummel holiday
In late October 2024 our GSD girl Meg spent a week on holiday near Loch Tummel and explored the surrounding areas. The photos accompanying the sponsorship certificate were taken while Meg was on her adventures on Kenmore Hill, and in the countryside near Loch Rannoch railway station. Meg is 10 years and 5 months old in the photos.
This is a donation option you can use if you don't want to choose a specific, named kennel dog but want your donation to go towards helping all of our kennel dogs.
If you wish to donate more than the £10 sponsorship price, you can increase the quantity of items under this category in your bag to add to the donation.
Meg isn't one of our kennel dogs, but is one of the many GSDs that have been rehomed by German Shepherd Rescue Scotland.
Meg was fostered then adopted by the volunteer who deals with our sponsorship page.
***The sponsorship certificate and photos will be emailed to you at higher resolution for you to print off, email onwards, or for display on your personal electronic devices..***
Price
The minimum donation for sponsorship is £10, you can also choose a different option from the donation amounts shown, or select an amount of your choice.
Name on sponsorship certificate
Please complete the "name on certificate" box with the name you would like to appear on the sponsorship certificate.
If the sponsorship is a gift for someone else, you can print the sponsorship certificate and photos and then hand them to the recipient or send them by post. Alternatively, you can forward the certificate and photo files to your chosen recipient by email.
Sponsorship donations
If you are kind enough to take our General Sponsorship option your generosity will help with the ongoing costs of caring for our kennels dogs in need while they wait to find forever homes.
To maximise the value of your donation, your certificate and photos will be emailed to you for home printing or for display on your personal electronic devices. This means that the value of your donation is not reduced by the costs of stationary and postage and also avoids the further reductions that would result if there was a need to replace items damaged in the post or lost.
How your donation will be used
German Shepherd Rescue Scotland is managed and run by unpaid volunteers. In addition to the time and effort freely given by our volunteers, we also need funds to allow us to continue to help dogs in need. We rely on the generosity of donations from caring members of the public to enable us to continue to cover the significant and unavoidable ongoing costs associated with rescuing and rehoming dogs in need. Costs such as kennel fees, dog food, veterinary fees, transport costs, etc.
