Loki

Loki s a handsome mature dog who has had a good life with his owner who has owned him from 4 months of age when he was living in the Middle East.

Having returned to the UK and got a new job which involves working away for weeks at a me, his owner cannot provide the care and attention Loki, who is now 8, requires and reluctantly has to re-home him.

Loki hasn’t been to any formal training classes but is well trained by his owner and has good basic training and good manners. He also walks well on and off the lead. Loki likes other dogs who he knows but is quite reticent with dogs he
doesn’t know.

He greeted our volunteer at the door with a few barks and did not react to him entering the house and stood by his owner. He remained cautious but never threatening throughout the visit.

Loki is good with people although he remains cautious until he feels comfortable with them. He currently lives with 2 children aged 14 and 11. He also lives with 2 smaller dogs.

Loki lives in a rural area and travels quite well in the car. He can somtimes be slightly unsettled on the start of a journey but quickly settles down and goes to sleep for the rest of the journey. He is also used to livestock and doesn’t give
them much attention.
