Fleece (previously Roxy)

Fleeces (Roxy)story
I got Fleece a few years ago. I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her. she was very nervous and confused. I took her home to meet my other two wee border cross patterdale terriers.

One(coco) of them was doing agility and I took Fleece to one of the shows where I discovered she didn't like collies.

I wanted to Agility with her and hoped she would come to tolerate collies. when we started we had to stand away from the group and was worried that she would turn on one of the other dogs. but when I put her on the starting line she never once looked anywhere but me.

The trainer was really great with us and helped , us so much slowly we moved on and one lady asked me to stand with he and her GSD Zena and she said if Fleece makes a move on Zena I was to say nothing and she would give her a row. fleece must have liked Zena they were happy to stand together.

A few years ago I took the step to enter her in a competition. I picked up the girl who runs coco and set of to the show. I was so worried there were kids and hyper collies but when it was time to join the queue she stood watch everything that was going on around all calm and stood by my side. when it was our turn all my worries just melted away with every jump and obstacle she did she was focused on me. she even managed a rosette.

We are doing more shows and picks up rosettes, even got a judges special for the best dog and handler. we are in grade 1 at the moment but I don't care about the grade she is in, its about turning her around into a happy loving girl who in my eyes is already a champion
