UPDATE -Harley has been in kennels for some time now so our volunteers took her away from this environment to re-assess her. Harley welcomed them with a wagging tail and happily jumped into the cage in the van for the short journey to the country park. She travelled well on the journey and was enthusiatic on her walk. She is a strong lady but walked reasonably nicely until she knew she was returning to the van where she pulled to get there.
On her walk Harley saw a number of farm animals and people and showed no real interest in any of them. She did get a bit excited at the sight of sheep but was given a verbal corrected and nicely walked by them without any issue. She is very foodie so this helped with rewarding her good behaviour.
Harley saw a couple of dogs on her walk and barked at them. It wasn't believed to be aggressive and more a frustration bark, but given her strength her new owners would have to work on this and have the ability to hold her in the presence of other dogs

Harley is a lovely 4yr old girl with a beautiful honey coloured long coat.
Harley pulls slightly on the lead at the start of the walk but soon settles down, she met a small dog while out on the walk and behaved very well. However, the owner did say that she picks which dogs she wants to meet. She can be quite excitable when meeting people and wants to jump and say hello. She will need to be taught so say hello calmly.
Harley is not too bothered with treats but does love playing with her ball which could be used as a training tool.
Harley can be a bit of a Houdini and can open doors, she would also require the garden fence to be super secure or she will take herself for a walk.
Harley lives with several dogs and the dynamics of the pack are not working which is causing a lot of stress in the home. The owner knows this is not ideal circumstances for the dogs and has reluctantly decided to split the pack up by rehoming 2 of their dogs, one of which is Harley.
