"Nola has settled in really well and is absolutely part of our family. She enjoys her long walks each day – on the beach, the golf course or in the stubble fields. Nola loves a game of fetch – on her long lead or in the garden - with a ball. She can be a bit naughty at times and we’re learning not to leave things (like slippers or tissues or FOOD) where she can steal them.
It was a great help to us when getting Nola settled to have all of the information that she came with and we are keeping up with her “touch” and other tricks. She has been learning some new ones too! It was also a great help that she was crate trained – she has a bed-time routine where she runs to sit at the cupboard where her dental treats are and then as soon as we have one in our hand she runs along the hall, handbrake turn at the door and straight into her crate to wait patiently for her treat. She sometimes likes to lie in her crate in the daytime too when I am making jewellery on my workbench beside it.
Nola has been going to training class at Wolfspeak and is coming along nicely – she just needs a bit more time to grow up. We are taking her to try out Scent Work this weekend to see if that is something we could do with her too.
Nola is a lovely girl and we are looking forward to continuing her training and spending lots of time with her. The whole family thinks she is adorable."
