Cassie

Cassie is a good-looking short-coated 4-year-old black and tan girl. She is very friendly and exuberant.

Cassie has been in her current home since she was a puppy and still exhibits very youthful excitement when meeting new people. She has never shown any aggression but will jump up to make friends, and when playing.

Cassie is fully house trained; she sleeps happily in the kitchen

overnight. She is fine with being left for short periods and does not damage the house or bark although she has been known to rip up her bed.

She loves going out in the car and will make a beeline for water at every opportunity.

Cassie is not lead trained and is currently walked in a halti to give her owner control. She is relaxed and not bothered by people, dogs or traffic. Cassie has had very little interaction with other dogs but shows no signs of fear or aggression.

Cassie has always lived with children, but she gets over excited in play and so is not suitable for resident, or regularly visiting, small people. She is not possessive over food or toys.

Cassie is a much-loved pet who is being reluctantly re-homed because a change in family circumstances means her owner can no longer give her the amount of attention and exercise that she needs to thrive. New owners will need to have the time and experience to build up Cassie’s training and teach her to have more self-control. Cassie loves a treat but can be a little snatchy when excited
