Thank you to 11 year old Erin Donald
We have a very special thank you to make to 11 year old Erin Donald who sent us in a donation of £75. What a thoughtful girl she is we really appreciate it x
Here is what her Mum sent us "Erin Donald from Balmedie Aberdeenshire donated this money to the rescue from auctioning off some of her German shepherd memorabilia inherited from her granny. She has a massive love of all things German shepherd and currently owns two white shepherds called Olaf and Obi.
At only 11 she has spent the last two years attending German shepherd training with Olaf and her hard work and determination has shown by what a great bond they have.
When she’s older she would like to work with German shepherds and I think she would make a great trainer! She hopes that her money will go towards helping some dogs find new homes.
Congratulations to our online show winners

As a lot of people have asked about a collection in Nans memory the family have decided to set up a memorial collection in Nans memory. If you would like to donate it would be much appreciated. Sorry for taking so long to set this collection up we have had problems with another site.

Condolence book Nan Gardener
A very special lady and massive supporter of German Shepherd Rescue Scotland was laid to rest this week. Nan Gardener sadly passed away leaving her beloved Shane to look after husband Dougie.
Nan, Dougie and Shane could always be seen travelling the country visiting our shows and events. This year Nan entered our 2021 calendar competition and Shane was selected as one of our January dogs. Nan passed away the day before the emails went out to tell everyone they had been successful so she never got to find out. We hope that she will be chuffed to know her boy was selected.
She will be missed by all who knew her. The University whom Nan worked for have set up a book of condolence and have a link to our donation page as Nan's final wish. Please sign the book if you knew Nan and pop a donation on in her memory. It would mean the world to the family.
Our thoughts are with Dougie and Shane at this sad time. Sleep tight Nan x
